EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) helps you release the emotional weight of past trauma or distressing experiences and limiting beliefs. Instead of revisiting painful memories in detail, EMDR gently helps your brain and body process past experiences so they no longer hold the same pain, shame, or nervous system activation. This processing can be integrated into therapy sessions when clinically appropriate.
If you’re already working with another therapist, EMDR can complement your current therapy. In this adjunct role, EMDR offers targeted support for healing the deeper roots of distress helping your ongoing therapy move forward with greater ease and integration.
